Stacie has 35 years of accounting experience with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger knowledge. Her accounting background has been in the manufacturing industry, and she has spent the last three years of her career working for the Select Group of Companies. She is responsible for streamlining all accounting functions and the process flow between accounts payable and purchasing, thereby making her a key contributor to Select Group’s overall financial growth. Stacie holds a degree in Business Management from Northern Essex Community College Continued Education at Framingham State College.
Ryan brings 20 years of construction, demolition and abatement experience to Select Tile, Marble & Flooring. Ryan started his career working in the field, and he quickly worked his way up the ranks eventually advancing to become President of Select Demo (Select Tile’s sister company), as well as the President and founder of four affiliated companies – Select Spray Systems, LLC, Select Paint & Finishes, LLC, Select Tile, Marble & Flooring, LLC and K-Town Disposal, LLC. Ryan prides himself on having a keen intuition on the needs and demands of his clients, understands hard work and strategy, has surrounded himself with the best team in the industry and most importantly, has not forgotten where he came from. He is currently a Manager on the Boston Muscle Team Charity Event in Boston
Ryan started at the Select Group of Companies in 2014 as an intern from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he helped develop a scheduling system that has continued to assist the company in efficiency and organization. Ryan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015 and then became a full time Project Manager for Select Demo. Ryan has managed many successful projects, a notable one being 125 High Street, Boston, MA, in which he managed the interior demolition of 10 floors where he coordinated access with the building, established project schedules and donated all furniture to various charitable organizations in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Ryan has become the primary Project Manager for all “White Box” projects for the Select Group. As Planning Director, he is responsible for managing the internal operations and logistics for all Select Tile projects.
Anthony brings over 10 years of commercial floorcovering experience to Select Tile, but has been involved in this industry his entire life, as his father was a Local 2168 Floorcoverer. Anthony commenced his career scheduling union installs and quickly worked his way to project managing some of the biggest, highest profile floorcovering projects in the Northeast. He enjoys heading up complex and challenging projects, while balancing budgets, scheduling deadlines and performing client relations. He strives to further develop efficiencies in all facets of the business, both in the field and within the office. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Andy brings 25+ years of commercial flooring experience to Select Tile, Marble & Flooring. He has been a member of Local 3 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen throughout his entire career in the flooring industry. He has 20+ years’ experience as a lead Foreman, managing many large, high profile projects throughout the Northeast including: the Encore Casino Hotel in Everett, Archer Residences in Boston, Harvard University’s Gore Hall in Cambridge, MA and the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, MA, just to name a few. One of his most notable achievements was being part of the team that was nationally recognized for their work on the War Memorial Building in Cambridge, MA as the International Bricklayers Union’s 2013 Best Tile Project. Andy prides himself on having an excellent ability to work well alongside tradesmen, contractors and ownership alike. He is also able to find creative and innovative ways to increase productivity and efficiency, while maintaining and improving upon a safe work environment in a constantly evolving industry.
Scott has been in some level of human resources for the last 22 years. As a Human Resources Director, he has restructured benefit plans, implemented retirement plans, and successfully created workforce development plans. His human resources experience has been diversified through manufacturing, healthcare and construction. Scott is a member of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) and holds CP certification through them. A founding member, and previous Board Director, of the Diversity Workforce Coalition, Scott brings a perspective of inclusion into the workplace. Although his past focus in Human Resources has been management development, employee relations, workforce development and recruitment, he is well versed in all human resources matters. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters Degree from Rivier University.
Nick brings five years of construction accounting experience to Select Tile, Marble & Flooring. At his previous company, he served two years as the Controller, where he oversaw the financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, payroll and cash flow management, as well as developed and maintained the internal accounting controls and financial reporting for the company. At Select Tile Nick assists in overseeing Accounting’s AR Department. He strongly believes in working as a collaborative team to closely monitor the financial progress of projects and the company as a whole. He is a five-year member of the CFMA (Construction Financial Management Association) and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from the University of New Hampshire.
Chris oversees all corporate accounting operations and financial management functions for Select Tile, Marble & Flooring. He brings with him 20 years of experience in the accounting and finance fields. Chris provides overall direction and leadership with respect to all financial operations within the company including financial projections, banking, tax preparation and compliance, insurance, bonding, outside legal counsel and audit related areas. Chris is an integral component to the financial growth and management of Select Tile. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
Sarah brings 19 years of marketing and business development experience to the Select Tile, Marble & Flooring. As Business Development Director, she wears many “hats” as she is responsible for the company’s overall marketing, website redevelopment, public relations, online branding, social media networking, in-house pre-qualification system, networking events, client presentations, charitable portfolio and commitments, client relations and the development of new business opportunities. She has a strong presence on a multitude of social media platforms, and she feels as though it is a successful and creative way to market a company. Sarah truly enjoys collaborating with her coworkers to position and grow the Select Group of Companies as leaders amongst specialty contractors in the New England construction industry. She has worked extensively with owners, environmental consulting firms, general contractors, construction managers, city and state agencies, utility firms, hospitals and educational institutions on numerous building and heavy-civil projects ranging in size from $10,000 - $40 million. She is currently a Manager on the Boston Muscle Team Charity Event in Boston. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University in Public Policy and Environmental Science.
Sebastien brings 20 years of health and safety experience to Select Tile, Marble & Flooring, LLC. Sebastien has extensive experience working in and managing Health & Safety Departments, especially in the construction industry. At Select Tile, Sebastien manages a Safety Team of six Advisors, conducts project pre-planning, provides submittal items, performs weekly to full time safety monitoring and leads training for large crews of laborers and operators. Sebastien holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from SUNY Albany.
Jordan Cancela brings 11 years of commercial flooring experience to Select Tile, Marble & Flooring. As an Estimator, he prepares accurate estimates and competitive bids with great attention to detail for various types of work including: carpet, resilient, epoxy, tile, as well as polished and stained concrete. Jordan prides himself in ensuring clients have his full attention while delivering quality results. He is always looking to implement new tools and software to increase efficiency and services that you will not find with other flooring contractors. Outside of work Jordan enjoys snowboarding, watching the New England Patriots and spending time with his family.
Tommy brings over 15 years of installation and management experience to Select Tile. The tile and flooring industry was seeded in him at a very young age, as he is the third generation of his family to work in the industry. Tommy’s career started immediately after graduating high school and taking a job in the field. His hard work and dedication in the field afforded him the opportunity to make the transition into the office side of the business, where he started as an Estimator and then evolved into a Project Manager. He has been involved in some of the largest and most complex projects in the Northeast. Tommy has forged great relationships with clients and has a notable reputation in the industry for getting projects done on time and under budget. He attributes much of his success to the time he spent in the field and his ability to work directly with general contractors, architects and owners to achieve the best final product for each project. Tommy looks forward to exploring new technologies and being an innovator in the tile and flooring industry.
