Select Tile, Marble & Flooring, LLC was contracted by the Haynes Group, Inc., a full service construction management firm, to perform flooring, tile and surfaces work for Mr. H, a new restaurant being developed by Coje Management Group, a restaurant management company known for Boston hot spots such as Yvonne's, Mariel, Caveau, Ruka, Coquette, and Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bars. Select Tile’s scope consisted of the grinding and leveling of 5,300 SF of existing concrete subfloor making it suitable for finish flooring; supplying and installing 5,300 SF of custom interior tile and stone (floors and walls); supplying and installing 1,250 SF of custom wool carpeting; installing 2,000 SF of exterior stone and brick. This new restaurant located in Boston’s Seaport District will replace the former Legal Test Kitchen on Northern Avenue, which has been vacant for years, and will be a modern Chinese restaurant that will offer Taiwanese fare in addition to Chinese dishes, and will have the feel of a Shanghainese cocktail lounge.
